My main is a glass cannon thief and I thought I’d try something a bit different for my next toon. I thought perhaps a Guardian with a mix of Knight and Valkyrie gear would do the trick. This build will be primarily for WvW where I generally run around solo or in a small (8 or less) guild group.

The general idea is to use Virtue of Justice as much as possible to spread blind and to give allies might, while using Hold the Line to keep the group defensively buffed and using my meditations to keep myself healed.
As for gear, I’ve determined that Knight Armor (with Emerald Orbs, I’m not exactly Mr. Moneybags) with Valkyrie Jewellery and Knight Weapons would give me 1858 Power, 1538 Precision, 1446 Vit, 1794 Toughness, and +66% Critical Damage.
This equates to about a 33% critical chance and around 16.2k health (which would be buffed up with food)

I played gs/hammer few days ago but i figure out that gs + sword/focus is better because it do better dmg plus 2 blinds + block and teleport, hammer is too slow and often misses immobilize and knock down because ppl see loading animation of doing that attack and they dodge.
now i play 20/30/10/0/10 with spirit hammer teleport and save yourselves. often ppl are running away from me and thats why i use 2 teleports for
edit: yeah with combination of lyssa superior rune(giving all boons on elite skill) and 5% dmg sigils i do good dmg, 4.5k with ww, 3.5k with sword.
crit chance 39% crit dmg 45%. 16k hp. all toughness /vit/pow gear, accessories powe vit crit dmg.(using rare equipment, exotic weapons, accessories are green items so when i buy all full exotic i will have 17.5hp maybe more )

from a lot of experience with guardians, meditations are underwhelming. even when traited. ESPECIALLY since Monk’s Focus competes with Altruistic Healing. If you’re flying solo, you’re build’s focus on meditations makes more sense (i think you’d still be better served by spirit weapons regardless) but if you’re playing in a group relying this heavily on meds is silly. Dropping Monk’s Focus for Alt Healing gives you WAY more survive ability, and replacing instant meds and smite condition(how much time is that saving you? really?) with Purity for better condition removal and Stand Your Ground! for healing, team support, and a more reliable stun break (judge’s intervention is OK, esp if you’re chasing someone, but in a group/defensive position, where you SHOULD be, it’s almost pointless). you’ve already got superior aria.
also, for solo play, there’s no point in the virtue of justice combo you have going. You’re not going to be downing a player every 30 seconds, most likely, and you’re not going to have teammates to make that Might benefit worthwhile. take those ten points and put them into the last of Honor for Pure of Voice (with some cheap runes of the soldier, which you want for sturdy DPS maybe anyway, you remove 2 conds per shout. awesome, no?)
the only damage you’re really loosing is Smite Cond, which is negligible. i’d take knight’s (what i’m using) or the pow/pre/cond set, depending whether you want sturdier or DPSier. to get more DPS you could forgo Pure of Voice for the 10% damage against burning foes zeal major.
but mainly, the build you have now is bad because it works around a combo mainly used for leveling (15 Rad/5 Virt) and the rather underwhelming meditations instead of Altruistic Healing (when you’ve got 30 Hon anyway). I do understand the chasing aspect of judge’s. but trying to play the guardian as someone who is sturdy, powerful, AND mobile is the best way to play a guardian that is none of these. so pick one.
