I mean, are the dev aware that some things are wrong with the guard and could be fixed, including :
- Nonsense traits location/traits effect
- Slightly underpowered weapons (yeah, it includes shield)
- Ridiculously high virtues’ icd for their untraited effect
Etc. ?

I’m not even speaking of the specialization yet, which is a more delicate problem.

So .. do the dev acknowledge these problems and can we get hope that something in near future will fix them ?

While I doubt that any devs are reading the forums or take much player feedback at all into consideration, you show a lack of understanding for the guardian. Guardian has 3 highly viable builds in the current meta with the burn guard, the meditation dps and the support build, if you struggle on the class maybe it is simply not your playstyle.
Move on to Elementalist or sth everyone can play that

I hope you can excuse me if i’m surprised with your answer. I invite you to read again my post and explain me where you thought i was struggling with the class or asking to change the playstyle or whatever.

Anet has historically been uncommunicative in here. While some things were fixed with the trait rework a lot of things we have been asking for are never commented on or changed. I doubt we’ll see any changes to the base class until they’re done with HoT. Even then I don’t think we’ll get any changes unless it affects Dragonhunter performance.

The only thing taht is lacking in shield is #4 other then that having a pbaoe knock back on a traited 19sec CD that also absorbs proctiles and can be used to heal for a small amout on top of +180 Thougness and additional armor is not really a weak skill in my book. It is a very pvp/wvwvw orientated skill.

It will work well with Test of faith trap and does already with Purging flames in pve. But people are too stubborn to see this too.

but i guess if it does not produce high red numbers everything is weak.

There isnt much to read if they dont want to tune up the class.

They gave fire so guards need to play with meditations and fire it is fine for them, also if i recall, the only dev that played guardian no longer works at Anet.
