Horribly disappointed by Druid, how is DH?
It’s meh. Open-world pve anything is fine. Fractals anything is fine. Dungeons anything is fine assuming you find people to run with (my first arah run was while using AH frontliner and my wvw gear because poverty and noob). Raids you probably won’t get a spot in PuGs unless you’re tanking VG or hammerhuntering Sabetha.
If you’re gonna complain about druid, the ultra-bunker healy spec that I and some other guard mains were sorta hoping for, I’d suggest keeping it in the ranger forums. Revenant elite isn’t primarily offensive, it’s just support, which turns into offense because revenant is a…well-tuned…class, and offensive support is part of support. Engineer elite spec is meant to be tanky, but like a lot of elite specs it’s also too good at other things (read: damage). Mesmer elite spec was based almost entirely around alacrity, a unique support, and too late Anet realized that was a poor decision and so slapped a band-aid on a meta they didn’t like by hammering mesmers with the nerf bat. Elementalist elite spec seems to be frontline support/survivability, but I don’t know much about that class.
But yeah, it’s cool that you’re disappointed; you’ll fit right in.

I was infinitely disappointed by druid. Behold, the holy trinity has been complete! You wanted an offensive elite spec? Sorry, we reserved those for guard/warrior/revenant/engineer/thief/mesmer/necromancer/elementalist. What is the state of Dragon Hunter in PVE? I like the longbow and trap archetype (you guys stole the perfect ranger elite :P ) and I am considering rerolling just for DH..
Im alright with DH, more disappointed with the name “Dragonhunter”. Even with the trapnerf, they still are strong with a zerkbuild. Virtue of Justice (wings of resolve) are realy nice, and they bow dmg/cc is alright imo, not op nor bad.
But the whole idea of the elite to guardian is a fail tho imo. Name frist of all, should been something like Justicar/paladin/frontliner/templar/warder e.t.c. Second, the weapon, warhorn instead of bow. Traps im alright with, but still, could be something else. Anyway, this aint something goin to happen and this been brought up 100 times so no atept to highjack something here hehe.
Overall, go guardian, I didnt quit mine becouse of its new eilte DH ^^

Ummm Berserker Druid with Longbow, GS, Bristleback and Smokescale has far more sustain than a Medi Guard.
Amazing healing from various sources, great mobility, control, 1500 range high damage and high damage melee. + The ability to stealth.
The only thing DH has that’s better is Longbow 5.
druid lg/gs is far more better than dh….so much sustain so much healing….
