Guild Wars 2

I assume power has a DR after a point.

I currently am going for pure damage with my greatsword……(Might switch to hammer)

Right now i have 2078 power with 1/4 lvl 80 epic gear the rest greens and yellows

Ive been told not to go over 2000 power.

First off, hammer is boss, you should use it.

Secondly, I don’t see a problem with having a lot of power, where did you hear that? Specialization is generally the way to go; you may rely more on other people to cover what you don’t, but you’ll be darn good at what you do, which in your case, is wrecking things with your new-found love for hammers.

There apparently is a hard cap for Power. But I have no idea where it’s at.

The wording seems to imply that it only affects level altered characters in practice, though since it was put in by an unregistered account with a single edit who knows if it is even true or not. Ahh, the nature of wikis.

Remeber that we dont have a problem stacking might and might scales poorer with high power. So maby its bether go go for less power and more of your other stats?!

Empowering Might is pretty boss for stacking power while stacking crit and crit damage instead ^^
