I play an Area Denial Guardian in WvW, primarily for controlling sieges with Staff and Consecrations. Hammer is the secondary weapon for crowd control.

I can usually keep any class off the point except Warriors when they decide to charge. I assume they usually have stability up, and can just cut through anything I do to try and lock them down.

Is there any way to counteract them, or is this the point where another class should step up?

You hit them until they die.

If they bull’s charge… dodge. Run around in circles until their stability runs out. Continue as you would with any class.

Dodge works. There is also ring of warding or the staff line one. Both stop them. You also have hammer 3 – which is the root.

You have a few options I guess. I hear dodge works best though. Your mileage may vary.

the ring/line will not work if they have stability, which the warrior has pretty good access to.

I actually don’t remember whether Charge/Bulls Charge goes through the line of warding or not since they are kind of buggy, but I am pretty sure they don’t go through a sanctuary dome.

trait into virtues, 5 pts are more than enough so u get the blind.

aegis → use Justice to blind → use Retreat for Aegis → use Courage for Aegis → use Renewed Focus → free aegis → Justice to blind → Courage for aegis → Retreat.

On a full CD fight u can pretty much disable most of the attacks.

If you are rooted though, then GL :> Blast all Virtues and use Renewd Focus. By that time he has done 100b with Frenzy, root is out and its your game.

Yeah, a lot of warriors are waaay too aggressive and depend too much on their armor. Like thieves, just survive the first few seconds and then you’re golden. And, unlike thieves, they can’t just stealth out, so it’ll be much easier to drop a fleeing warrior.
