Hybrid build, PvE and WvW
Isn’t it great when you look for advice and all you get is nothing? Really guys?
Anyway I’ll be more specific
Fow WvW I mean roaming. In theory would any of those 2 be viable? I can also try them for my self but losing pretty much all my money now for soemthing that can not work in the future kinda sucks, and since I don’t have much money (60g was my maximum I ever got and now I have 56) and I also wanted to buy cultural tier 3 I would like to have some ideas before getting deeper into this
I use this version (linked below) when wvw roaming and in PvE. The key to the build is knowing the build and becoming very familiar with its weaknesses and strengths as you progress to becoming a competent player with the build.
Thanks for the advice but what about what I have posted. Any thoughs?
I myself do not see it working well due to running something close to in WvW roaming myself. as for Rigel’s build I run a zerker build for my Guard and do well enough. only time I run into issues is when there are more then 1 person and they are thief or mes, then I tend to get downed or close to.
Pascoal, I would say work on the build you have and see what you run into as far as weakness.
Try out a half zerker with that and maybe add more damage and see how that rolls.

I think you haven’t gotten much advice because the topic has been covered quite a bit. If you search the forum, you will find many threads on the same idea. None of them are too encouraging because you will only be mediocre for both aspects of the game. They are so different that the gearing is almost on opposite ends of the spectrum.
You builds don’t focus on any one particular thing so … for doing both, I guess it’s OK. Pretty much anything middle of the road will be perform average. You simply need to play it and figure out what you don’t like about it.

I made a basic build based off your video. Hope you don’t mind.

If you think it’s off let me know but I think this build is nice for a start.

I see what’s your point. So either I go full damage or I go, as I am right now, defencive (Healway build)
Well I wanted to make more damaging Guardian sisnce I got to play with a Thief. Don’t think that I want the ame with both classes because I don’t, I just got used to the small fight’s and big number’s, so I would like to see soem of those number on my Guardian. I think I’ll role a Warrior then, I have 1 build ofr roaming that I really want to try with Warrior
The recommendation is:
PVE: full damage
WvW: something else (i’m not a expert in this area of the game, but I understand that only the most daredevil people run the full DPS builds there)
Swap between them as you need.
