Ok so all my guildies told me that i need vitality and toughness for my guardian, is that true or there something else and also i notice that melandru armor has a lot of vitality and toughness comapared to the others so should i buy my melandru armor or no?

Just to let everyone know that i am not working on getting legendary armor yet

Either get PVT armor (karma, pvp, dungeons) and use emerald jewellery. Some people go as far as ruby jewellery.

OR get knights crafted armor, use beryl orbs and a mix of emerald and beryl jewellery.

This may depend on your build. If you are going to run an AH build you will want crit and the 2nd option gives you that.
