Also, this may not be the game for you, as it was built around the absence of the “holy trinity”. Not meaning to be rude, but it’s just how the game works.

Those two things might not even accomplish everything you want either. There’s no dedicated “tank” class in gw2.

Follow this guide:

1. Go to character creation page, pick Norn race and be sure to choose the biggest body type and make him as tall and fat as you can.
2. Equip any armor and paint it green.
3. Congratulations, you are a tank now.

Tip: If you want to be a german tank you just have to use grey dye
