Ideas for new condi-esque weapon skills
change Orb of Light, into some sort of fire projectile
No thank you. I very much enjoy the theme of light magic, especially on the longish range supportive weapon that is the staff.
Liking that symbol suggestion though, although it might just be better to make a trait that makes symbols burn entirely separate.
If spirit weapons were improved, a condition build with them could be decent (via the A Fire Inside trait).

But that orb of light is so useless :/ both defensively and offensively
I’d like to see a rework of Shattered Aegis, again. This trait has gone from AoE damage, to AoE burning and back to AoE damage. I feel changing this trait so that it applies AoE bleeding could make it a more worthwhile choice for condi guardians, perhaps to fill up the master slot in Zeal.
Shattered Aegis: “When an aegis you applied is removed, it bleeds nearby foes.
2x Bleeding(4s)”
Keep in mind that the bleeding will be applied for 5 seconds if you go 30 into Zeal. A guardian fully built for condition damage in sPvP would inflict 1127 damage over the 5 seconds, and inflicts this at the start of virtually every fight.
As for weapon skills, perhaps a buff to Torch #5.
Cleansing Flame: “Breathe magical flames that damage foes and cure conditions on allies. Apply burning and transfer one condition from yourself to foes every fifth hit.
Damage(10x)
2x Burning(1s)
Range: 400”
Not entirely sure about the condition transfer part, but you’re breathing magical flames over your foes after all. To balance, increase the cooldown to 25 seconds.
The suggestion to make Orb of Light more fire-based is interesting, but rather than changing the projectile only the detonate effect should be changed. Perhaps something similar to the trident’s Purifying Blast.

Those are really good suggestions, Oh! Or we could make cleansing flame turn 3 conditions into boons, making it work with Altristic Healing and making torch more viable.
