Since it seems the devs don’t want to make big modifications to the guardian and more and more people grow tired of it, let’s imagine what would happen if they all re-rolled another class. In your opinion, what would happen? Would it even matter?

Pve’ers learn to dodge a bit better.

Wvw zergs become a lot more susceptible to poison.

Pvp shout wars replace guards

Everyone would swap to mesmer for the reflects and stability.

Wait… what’s a guardian? Is that a class? Race?

The players who enjoyed Guardian would go to Mesmer or Elementalist for a similar experience.

3×2 seconds of stability if traited, yes. That’s without boon duration, of course. The skill is also a stunbreaker and on a shorter cooldown than skills such as the engineer’s toss elixir B.

Mesmer’s currently have the second best access in the game to AoE stability.

I’m not sure what you are driving at with the rest of your post so I’ll refrain from responding to those components for now.

People would just use mesmers for dungeon support and warriors for WvW commanders and sPvP bunkers.

In other words, the world would go on.

If you’ve got any mesmers on your server sitting out in WvW, you must be on a low tier server with a whole lot of bads.

Mesmers are apex roamers. 20 points in Dueling and they’ve secured the top of the totem pole for OP.

Sharper Images alone makes the clones do more damage on auto-attack than the player does.
