This would make scepter more appealing, sword #3 would see its full use of 600 range (its really like 100 range). Staff #2, gs #5, and hammer #3 would gain benefits as well.

Could we get a 30% projectile speed increase baked into Zeal VI? What do you think?

Well something definitely needs to be done to make Sword 3 hit more, its too unreliable at the moment.
I feel like this may make sceptre too OP though, i mean it has the strongest base attack so a 30% speed increase would make a big difference

To be honest, I don’t know why anyone would trait more into Zeal just for a projectile speed increase when there are arguably much more valuable traits to go for. I’d take monk’s focus and right hand strength over a 30% projectile speed increase any day and if I’m only going for adept traits in zeal, I’m going to go for fiery wrath. It also seems like an incredibly weak buff as well, considering rangers get a similarly functioning trait that increases their projectile speed by 100% in addition to a 10% attack speed increase (granted it’s a grand master trait, but still, I doubt you’d even notice a 30% speed increase at all).

What I do think we need is for scepter projectiles to home slightly, so they have more success hitting a target at 1200 range, even if that target steps slightly to the left or right. Right now, all a player has to do is step to and fro a bit to throw Orb of Wrath projectiles completely off target, so giving them some homing capabilities would mostly absolve this and force players to actually move properly to evade. >_>

Can we not continue on this route of fixing problems with traits that give effects that should already be present intrinsically? Nobody took Read the Wind seriously until they added an attack speed increase because projectiles should already be reliably fast by default.

Agreed. It sucks having to trait 6 into marksmanship just to have a viable longbow. Recently necro staff projectiles was increased by 50% so I would think the guardian scepter is next in line. I’m not sure if there’s a slower, more unreliable ranged AA than it.
