Q:

As title says, is Empowering Might (Nearby allies gain might for 5s everytime you crit) affected by bonuses from Boon Duration or Might Duration, such as Runes of the Water/Monk (15% Boon Duration) and +Might Duration boons such as Fire (20% Might Duration)

I currently have 15% Boon duration and 20% Might duration from rune bonuses. Would the new Empowering Might effect by nearby allies get might for 6.75s (5×1.35)

Boon/might duration should affect this outgoing boon, but it may be broken. You can easily test this in the sPvP lobby where items and stat resets are free.

I found one issue with empowering might, Anytime I crit multiple enemies at once,(whirling wrath) It doesn’t give me the amount of might buffs to the amount of crits I landed. This a bug?

Wonderful, that’s not stated in the trait. Thank you for clarifying.

As far as I know, the extra boon duration works only for boons placed on YOU, not others. You can only cause a boon, but it’s up to the target’s boon duration how long it’ll last.

So if you have +50% boon duration and a Warrior with 0% boon duration gives you Might for 5 secs, you’ll get Might for 7.5 secs.
If you apply Might for 5 secs to him, he’ll have Might for 5 secs.

Go to a player in divinitys reach and cast a shout, preferably one with long duration on the boons so your bonus is easy to “see” and im sure you will find that the boons on the person next to you last just as long as they last on you.

Your durationbonus is applied to your teammates. 100% sure.

The easiest way to test this is with writ of persistence, and symbol of wrath. I have 20% boonduration and retaliation vanishes the exact same moment on the both of us.

I just tested what Brutaly said, and I can confirm it’s true. Your +% Boon Durations are applied to boons you cast on others, but as far as I could test (only tested with 1 skill so far), boons you receive from others don’t get the extra duration from your +% Boon Durations.

Edit: This... changes some things... I’m considering getting the most +% boon durations since I play with a heavy support build...
