Is there a reason JI doesn’t work at the end of mighty blow? And I would like actual dev proof like a link to the place they said it. And if they ever plan on moving Glacial heart to say The place where strength in numbers is now? This would encourage hammer builds and not have every guard ignore hammer.

its in the release notes from a month or so ago i don’t feel like looking up the link tho. they disabled JI while in air which u are in air during that skill

yup they disabled that month ago. Srry but hammer won’t be viable for a long time.

If we are talking PVE, hammer was only ever decent in factals. And now it’s really not great at all with DH.

Hammer is going extinct.

This guy is talking JI, which is pure pvp.

It really sucks that a lot of utilities/weapon types become invalidated due to nerfs like this. its really sad.

Doesn’t Mighty Blow still work if triggered at the beginning of JI?

There are two very simple trait changes that could significantly affect builds, Hammer in particular.

Swap Glacial Heart with Retaliatory Subconscious. Change RS functionality to “Activate Virtue of Courage on [cc effect]”. GH now competes with more interesting traits and won’t compete with AR. VoC also gets itself a master trait. Without Indomitable Courage, you still get the Aegis, Retal, and now Prot, bit with IC you get the Stability and Stun Break.

They should also swap Focus Mastery and Stalwart Defender, but that’s a different discussion.

I tried yesterday on my DH using hammer with LB. God that was awful experience. GS is God compared to hammer now. If they move back Glacial heart I might start using it, until then GS>>>>>>>>>>>>>Hammer.
