I have seen numerous times today and yesterday that I’ve used stand your ground for a stomp only to be feared off imediately afterwards.

Whats the deal?

Are you sure your stability isn’t being stolen by a sword thief or your boons corrupted by a necro?

Dunno, it happened a few times to me too but needs more testing. I did a Stand Your Ground on 2 allies on siege duty. Weird thing is, when the enemy cata hit, 1 ally was knocked back, the other just stood still. I quickly checked and both had Stability.

Fear is a condition is it not? That means stability does not block it. Just like how it does not block cripple or immobilize.

Fear is a condition but is negated when stability is up:

“Cannot be knocked down, pushed back, launched, stunned, dazed, floated, sunk, or feared.”

Only works if you have the boon up BEFORE the CC hits. If you had the Boon and you still got hit by CC — it either got stolen, stripped or you were already CC’ed beforehand.

When Corrupt Boons or Well of Corruption hits someone with Stability, it transforms the Stability into Fear.

Otherwise Stability should block Fear from happening.

Downed enemy→stand your ground→feared off.

SYG breaks fear though.
I heard of a bug though, where you can be cc’d even though you have stability. Never happened to me though.

I think it’s a stability bug to be honest, that happens a lot when i try to shroudstomp with stability on my necro
