I was thinking of creating a guardian with the ability to tank and support, while having a decent power/crit value. Used mainly for PvE, Dungeons and Fractals.
Any advices on how to improve this?

Mainhand Weapon:
Mace/Focus

Offhand:
Staff

Stats (w/ Bowl of Curry pumpkin soup & quality maintenance oil):
1805 Power
1754 Precision (43.89% Crit. chance & 53% Crit. Dmg)
1636 Toughness
1603 Vitality

Since you dont have all that much healing power I would recommend going sword and shield instead of mace and focus. It’s higher dps definitely, a bit less healing but you have mediocre healing power anyways, you still get a blind and the higher attack rate of attack of the sword means higher chance to proc vigor meaning more dodge heals.

Shield 4 still gives your team protection. Sword 2 is still a blind on a pretty low cooldown. Sword 3 blocks projectiles, as does shield 5. And shield 5 is about a 2k heal.

@Teamkiller:
How much healing power is considered good for a guardian?
I could swap out the back for a ‘Magi’ equipment (w/ Healing/Power jewel) and change around the food buffs for Healing/Crit instead of Crit/Vit.
It’d boost my Healing power to 650, without sacrificing too much Crit%

Not sure about scaling of regen & heals for Healing Power

If the guardian wants to run as a pseudo cleric usually ~1000 or more is acceptable. If you’re going hybrid with dps your amount is perfectly fine, just I personally wouldn’t use the mace as it benefits most from really high healing power (since Mace/Focus will be focusing mainly on regeneration as healing)
