Considering the changes the other classes got it sucks what they did with guardian/DH.
Ya the damage & control was spike heavy but it was very very predictable and it was all they really have.
If they added some utility to it it might be worth the nerfs but as is its just another reason to roll something else (which there are a ton of)
I am deeply dissapointed. Everyone knew that DH is easy to counter, if you died 1v1 then it was just like with every other profession.
Traps were cheesy okay, but they forced you to stay sharp, otherwise you could get rekt.
After all this we get some flimsy CD reduction that costs us a huge loss in our primary source of damage?
I ain’t gonna roll Flavor of The Season professions, I’d rather leave this game and wait until Guardians are what they are supposed to be, not too shabby, yet not overpowered.

You may be waiting for a while. There really isn’t anything out that is pressuring the developers or designers to make sudden changes. CU isn’t out this year. Few console games but they last only so many hours before they are completed. Few sandbox / mmo / rpg type games have recently been out with others folding.

ANet’s skill and profession team (the “balance” team) is the worst I’ve ever seen. If you expected something other than idiocy in this patch, you weren’t grounded in reality.
The proper nerf to True Shot was to increase the cooldown and keep the damage so that it was a skill-shot. If you failed, you would be out a big chunk of damage for a while.
Meanwhile over on reddit someone is reporting to the dev’s that they are scanning this forum for response and it appears the changes to the class are so-so as far as reception goes.
Truth the class has been neutered….
The devs are completely out of touch. Mesmer gets 0 nerfs for example…
True Shot nerf was necessary tho. It was a cheap shot for amazing burst.
But in this case it should have more utility or give it a mobility buff so we could cast it while moving (at least at whirling wrath speed.)
Perhaps boost sustained damage if we can’t properly burst.
Let’s just lay down Guardian for a bit and see what Anet will do in the next quarterly update.

You’d better go to rev guy. Shall I remind you that mesmers reappeared only once the prof non stacking rule has been put on place on ESL tournaments.
Before with same balance it was 2 revs everywhere and no mesmer.
And rev did not eat a big change on last patch.
yep, meanwhile, i’m getting instant locked, downed and dead by mesmer, thief and warrior, even engi and ele……apparently, anet don’t them “spike” as annoying.
Meanwhile, my guard has to stand still and wait for 2 second practically screaming “look, i’m shooting! ITS TRUE SHOT!!” the other guys were like “so what, its only 2K dmg, go ahead, i’ll stand right here”
Hay at least they dont try to dodge the thing anymore ~ it could be a anti dodge buff in a way ish~ in all of ym matches yesterday noe a single person tried to dodge my true shot, it doesn’t feel as good when i land it but i sure as hell landed a lot more
If Rocket Charge is only 2 leaps then it should look like 2 leaps
