Hello,

So people complain that Guardian doesn’t have enough mobility and I kinda agree, I think this would be a pretty simple fix. It could be a high level trait for example, I don’t really care. The effect is an AoE burn, so I don’t really see a reason why it should be a single target spell. Every other teleport in the game uses ground targeting, why is Judge’s Intervention different from them?

Would it be too powerful? I don’t think so, but please share your thoughts. Maybe a cripple in some hammer spell would be a better way of fixing the guardian control/mobility?

Hammer has an immobilize. A Cripple would kind of make it more like the Warrior’s hammer skills. Kinda…

But Id love to be able to target where I use Judge’s…
Guard does need more mobility, without us having to spec everything into it…just for a long swiftness buff.

I don’t know how you play your Guardian, but Ring of Warding + JI is a great reason for me to have it as a single target spell.

Why bother being a Guardian if you don’t guard anyone?

actually in early beta every guardian teleportation was ground targeted – no idea why they changed it….

I love it as it is. I can go Flashing Blade>Judge’s Intervention and instantly teleport 1,800 range to a foe, trying to run away. I wouldn’t be able to do that if Judge’s Intervention was a ground target skill. In WvW, it also works on critters, so if you keep aware of nearby mobs, it is possible to also use Judge’s Intervention for escaping.

JI is great for stomping thieves. You don’t even have to look for where they are.

Also, JI + Banish is pure awesome.

True. I like JI the way it is now.

MI I can see as making sense as a ground target, as you have no control over where you end up currently. JI works perfectly fine as it is atm, and changing it to ground target would ruin skills that work well for it. ZD would lose alot of power, because there is no promise you would end up facing the enemy anymore, same with banish, or any frontal attacks in general.
