Guild Wars 2

I am wondering when the guardian gets better. I’m only lvl 15 and it seems very slow to lvl and anything over 2 mobs is a big chore to kill. Currently using a GS and a staff. Most fights are with GS. I have a 80 warrior and it was a breeze to lvl but the Guardian seems to be alot slower. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Thx

Try using sword/focus or mace/focus instead of staff. The sword has good killing and defensive power as does the focus, you get multiple blinds, regen off focus #4 and the blocks off #5 are great defense. Mace is great for tanking, the heall of the auto attack 3rd hit is great. Along with the regen off the symbol and the block+counter it is a great defensive weapon.

Leveling is the most fun, or at least for me. I actually had more fun than leveling up my Ele and that is what I played through-out all the open beta weekends.

Sword/torch, and whatever two hander you find except the staff. Staff is great for travel and WvWvW. But leveling I went with everything else more or less depending on what I had and was a upgrade at the time.

I went from 1 to 80 in around 8 days playing 3 to 4 hours a day. They key is to push yourself and not do hearts that take to long. Keep moving and don’t worry about 100% on a zone till your done leveling.

Also some good advice is to try to unlock all playable weapons so you can see what you are working with and what fits your play style. Don’t bother doing hearts that are a lower level than you are.
