Just another build help thread :)
At lvl 34 it doesn’t matter much. Just keep your gear as updated as possible, and you can pretty much use a Greatsword exclusively for levelling.
Sort of figured that what i do at lvl 34 doesnt really matter much but can you give me some suggestions for lvl 80 builds? I’d like to increase my knowledge of how guards work at max level.
It really depends on the style you want to play, or what type of content you’re looking to do.
Guardians excel at providing buffs to their party, as well as being naturally defensive. Most builds you find will have you trying to provide buffs to people around you.
My honest advice is to hit 80 and then come back to ask.

@OP, this ^
Some good basics is to read the AH Crit guide at the top, and a good solid build is the Paragon build. But really, just playing around while leveling up will help you figure out what you want the most.
And yes, that PS did sound very immature. I’d not say something like that again if you ever want to be taken serious again.
When leveling just pick out those traits that look like they would help. Superior Aria at 20 is quite nice. At 40 you can get 2h Mastery which is nice, throw on GSword and Staff. At 60 you can get Altruistic Healing to use with Hammer or go Right Hand Strength with 1h weapons.
After 60 things open up a bit more but its not a huge deal till ya get 80 n start gearing.

Really good guide to build towards. I use it at 80 and it works great.
