Karma armor
I have enough karma to get a full set of karma armor but was curious which option was best for the guardian. I was interested in armor with the prefix knights which is not an option for the karma armor. I assume my next best bet is the melandru which I believe is the soldier prefix. Can I make up the lack of precision with rings and such or should I get a different set of gear?
Also if you use the karma armor for your guardian which set do you have and what is your build?
Thanks
Honestly i mix and matched my armor back when i had karma gear. But i focused on pieces that gave me prec/power/toughness/vit/healing in that order. I was at the time running a 0/0/20/30/20 build i beleave focusing on more of a support roll till i could fine tune by gear, and get over into a AH build. I set my armor up with AH in mind so i would have to replace as little as possible. Right now i would focus on getting in the following order Chest, Neck, Leg’s, Ring’s, Earring’s, Helm, Shoulder’s/Glove’s/Boot’s, and last is your Back. This will boost your stats the most. I will just add i personally dont care for full set of soldiers as your damage takes such a hit that i just dont find the extra vit/toughness to be worth it as its so easy to hit 3k armor without it on a guardian.
Are there any builds that work well with soldier prefix armor?
Since knights is eventually the armor set I want are there any dungeons or easy ways to obtain exotic lvl 80 knights armor?
The only real easy way is if you already have 400 armorsmithing. It’s easy enough to either buy mats off tp or farm them yourself. Still this requires you have 400 in armorsmithing for heavy armor. This would however get you the knights armor you want. Karma armor isn’t so great unfortunately, and you get better armor just by crafting. And what’s more this also lets you make alot of runes as well which never hurts. Although you never know maybe Knights armor is on the tp for sale?
Sorrow’s Embrace and Arah both offer Knight’s gear. SE p1 or Arah p3 are your easiest paths for token farming.

This isent a bad idea. Although i know for some crafting just is not their thing. I personally have 400 in most crafts just because it saves me coin. I’ve also made things for my friends from time to time that do not like to craft. If your like my buddies that do not like crafting then i would say find a crafter, and ask them if they will make you some gear if you provide the mat’s. In general it will save you a few gold. I know on a full set even buying mat’s from the broker i can save myself 3-6 gold per set of armor depending on market costs over just buying the premade item.
Or… you can just buy the armor you want…
Crafting is even cheaper, but even if you just buy it… It’s not that expensive. You don’t need to build around gear you don’t want. Decide your build first, and then get the gear you need to fit it.
