Guild Wars 2

I’m looking to build my first ascended weapon and this is the decision I have to make. I mostly PvE and I Love WvW too and want to do more of it. Knights must be viable in PvE I’m guessing. No idea cause I never ran with it. Tips, advice?

If PVE > WvW for you. Then go zerker! I have 5 ascended zerker weapons for my guardian. Couldn’t be happier. If I need a weapon specifically for WvW, I usually settle for exotic since I change my weapons like candy in WvW to try different things. But in PVE, it is ALWAYS zerker. Just my 2 cents. I have used Valkyrie, Cleric, Zerker, and Knights in different phases of my WvW career. Point is….. Builds are more diverse in WvW so expect those to change a lot. Unlike PVE where zerker is king.

Berserker gear isn’t recommended in WvW. Other players are smart and they will punish your low survivability.

Berserker is the best choice in PvE. If you’re not comfortable in it then Knights is the best option.
I would just go with whatever you’re wearing now. But if you’re still not sure, then try out some exotic or rare Berserker and Knights gear and find out what you feel comfortable in.
