Guild Wars 2

Like the title suggests, I am currently using a variation of a burn DH for PvP and have a not so effective one for WvW (Love the PvP build tho but feel like it could do better and the one son Metabattle are trash) however I am looking for a non meta build for both of these modes. I main thief atm but always was interested in Burn Guard/DH.

For WvW, burn guard is amazing. However, if you want to maximize it, I highly suggest ascended gear for HoT prefix. I destroy people 1v1, small man and in zergs. In 1v1s, it especially catches people off guard who expect to smoke you (i.e. Daredevils).

As far as sPvP, I still think Falselight’s V2 posted on metabattle is the best & most enjoyable build. However, post patch, burn guard/DH is really not fun or effective outside trash tier.

And this is why ANet needs to address the changes made, not only burn guard, but other builds as well are all seen as trash tier, come on ANet help us boys and girls in blue.
