HI I reached level 80 on my guardian the other day and realised I had enough karma to buy 4 pieces of exotic.

Being the impulsive spender that I am I looked up the armour with the best healing power (armageddon armour of balthazar) and proceeded to purchase. However afterwards I started reading about people mixing and matching different pieces of exotic and cursed myself for not thinking of it myself lol.

So my question is this….is a full set of armageddon armour good for a guardian in PVE or PVP? And what kind of build would you use with this set of armour since i noticed it boosts precision after healing power?

Depends on what you’re trying to do and what kind of stats you want. The armor you’re describing (Healing Power and Precision + whatever the last one is) is Magi’s and I’m personally not a big fan. I know it has its uses if you mix it with Power-based pieces.

Theres another poster with pretty much the same question. Magi is decent if you put most everything else as cleric. The other poster went full support with a focus on healing, so if you don’t care at all about how much damage you deal, it could be good for tossing around heals and regen. I think a big part of his build was using Tome of Courage, which would shine in what he’s trying to accomplish (spammable 2k heals with a 1/6-1/4 uptime). I don’t really have a build to give, but I’d say if you aren’t going to be doing any damage, then find some way to Might stack, and vuln stack for your team. Take advantage of that prec you’re getting, otherwise you’d be better off as full cleric, or Soldier/Knights on armor.

For general PvE I use a mix of crafted Knight and Valkyrie armour (3 pieces each), for dungeons I use a full set of p/v/t. I don’t do PvP ..
