Hi,

Wondering what’s the best DPS gear and consumables on Guardian for solo content?

I am thinking maybe, full assassins, prec food, powerful slaying potion… with Ranger runes?

If I’m interested to solo Arah, for instance, what should the sigils be on my weapons?

I know I should have perception stack somewhere, so maybe my Greatsword should have perception.

What about possibility of might from Str sigil, battle sigil? Is strength runes so not worth it?

And if I don’t use perception stack cause I’m still learning and can’t maintain 25 stacks all the time yet, what would be the best alternative? Is accuracy sigil worth it? Maybe in a Strength Runes setup? Or is that too much of a DPS loss from the precision loss?

I’ve read both the sticky and the links to the new calculations and builds in dtguilds.com.

That doesn’t say anything about solo content, unfortunately.

I haven’t read anything about the possibility of adding more might into the rotations come into play vs just maximizing crit chance.

Unless I’ve missed it, then maybe you can point it out to me where in the sticky they have this discussion specifically.

For instance, what is the DPS comparison between force and sigil of strength? If I’m camping in scepter/focus mostly for the fight against Lupi, is it better to use sigil of strength ever?

Or is the sigil of strength not good enough unless I’m wearing strength runes? But if I’m wearing strength runes, is the might justified from the lesser precision stats?

I would say slaying/night + force is best for the most part. Strength only over accuracy when slaying and night aren’t applicable but not to GS. Strength runes are not worth it. I’m not really sure about gear though and you would have to factor in reflects so it’s really hard to say. If your using a stacking sigil put it in the focus since you will be using that less than GS for fighting and can keep the stacks in case a scepter is better for the particular boss. For lupi though 6/6/0/0/2 scepter/focus – undead/force, gs – perception, energy, focus mastery over gs trait, 20% burn trait in radiance, and UC would be the optimal choice. We are working on group dps numbers atm for pretty much everything including mace which people seem to be interested in. If it’s not much effort I will see if she will add in solo numbers too.

Quite curious about the gear still and hopefully, if people don’t mind running the numbers for solos, it can expand beyond just the Guardian.
