Guild Wars 2

Hey guys! I’ll start this off by saying I usually play Necro but as I get higher in fractals and try some of the more challenging paths in dungeons I’m meeting a lot of people not willing to take me with them (Thats a whole other thread though…) so anyway I figure I’ll just play my Guardian while they’re in such high demand… problem is I’m clueless when it comes to them.

I’m looking for a dungeon build, but the problem is I have no idea what people expect from me as a guardian. Am I supposed to be a tanky meatshield or a glass cannon of doom throwing out boons!? Just some general advice on guardians in dungeon play would be amazing right now.

that’s a great guide right there to start with. most of the concepts or builds apply to regular dungeons as well. depending your group, you can always go “anchor” or “dps”. mix and match your utilities depending on the situation, adjusting for difficulty level, group comp, group wide traits/buffs (to ensure no overlapping or “wasted” traits or spec for AoE condition cleansing if needed), etc.
