Guild Wars 2

Greetings, I have been looking for a build lately for my Guardian and don’t really know what to go for(know very little about class balance and such in the game), the build I currently have is pretty horrible I think, it is just what I put points in to while I was leveling when the game came out:P

Anyway I’m looking for a build that does average-good damage and has some nice tankyness and uses a Greatsword as the primary weapon, I can get any other weapon set or armor from the Trading Post.

Hopefully someone knows of such a build and is willing to help me.

The classical AH build will fit your demand very well. Just make sure you travel/fight with some buddies around you, you will feel no weakness on AH build. Carry a staff as the other weapon set. It’s not ideal for PVE solo but it works well in dungeons.

Its fine in PvE too, just not super fast like a pure zerk geared or build. PvE in this game is, well, a walk in the park

Will add the build i forgot later this week or next, included in this thread, but im a bit busy at the moment.

But a start in all kinds of pvp centric content is to put 30 points in valor for either meditations or AH.

Hey guys. I will use this topic to ask about the build I am using in PvE because it is the same as in WvW, so the matter is the same. But I have 1 question

My question is, in PvE do you think it would be better to use Sigil of Blood or the Sigil I have that increases Might Stack since it will proc with Empowering Might and it will give my more Might. I also have the Staff to stack more Might and support my group.
Or is the Sigil enough and I should switch Empowering Might with Two-Handed Mastery and get lower coldowns (I use that trait in WvW)

Any thoughts?

I always carry one weapon to stack power then switch it out to the other once I have 25 especially in WvW. I never go into battle without 25 stacks.

I just wanna say that inWvW I don’t use zerker, just in PvE
So it’s Bloodlust worth it in PvE? Would this do more DPS? I just use staff for might stacking
