Just curious how something like this would handle with survival and group support. See any major flaws or places I could improve on this?

If you are wanting to focus on healing through symbols, I’d trade GS for Mace/shield. If you are doing this for wvw, I’d recommend dropping the CoP and getting SYG and getting full Lyssa Runes. Stability and retaliation are just too strong. Also you would probably get more survivability with AH instead of MF. With all the symbol focus you have in the trait lines, it would give you more survivability.

Why mace and shield as opposed to mace+focus?

i run mace and shield occasionally with my healing build. mace + focus is extremely strong as well, but i personally prefer the shield for the knockback shield. useful to prevent stomps on your allies. also knock thieves out of stability, and why not tack on knocking people off cliffs.

to me focus feels more “personal” while the shield feels more “group oriented”. different utilities i guess.

check out the youtube channel in Dynnen’s sig for some uses of the shield. ; ))

Meditations are not really about group support, but Individual Survival. They are your best option when you play with a bunch of people with Sticks who try and stand behind you.
