Guild Wars 2

I have been a warrior for over 2 and half yrs. And finally I tried the Dragon Hunter and love the play style. The traps synergize well with greatsword. And the longbow is fantastic… much better than the warrior’s longbow. And the F1, F2, and F3 skills are quite useful. I hear the Dragon Hunter had a rough start in early beta, but the dev finally got it right. Just want to say a job well done. Now I will happily retire my warrior and play a Dragon Hunter Guardian. XD

my first toon was guard and my main for about 8 months then i went to main a warrior for the mobility in WvW. However the DH spec is soooo good especially when measured against how bad Warrior elite is. Im not even going to bother getting the elite spec for my warrior until it gets buffed.

My first toon was Guard too, and it is defintely my main, every new stuff I do it with him first, sometimes I play a lot other classes, I had my Necro moment, but the Guard will always be the favorite.

I like warrior too, did not tested the berzerker during beta and I see so few around after launch, looks like it is not good at all.

That’s so funny, Spartacus. I too started first as guardian. Then after WvW I gave it up for the more mobile class like thief and then my main Warrior. I was a warrior ever since. But then warriors started getting nerfs after nerfs, esp when adrenaline got nerfed hard. It really annoyed me. I switch to many builds to keep up with the nerfs but I was hoping the Berserker spec would solve our problems with warriors but it totally disappoint. Now having played Dragon Hunter, I feel like I got the warrior spec I always wanted. I don’t care about Berserker anymore. Unless they do something amazing with it, I am pretty sure Dragon Hunter is my main now. XD

So note to all devs, don’t nerf any profession too much or else players will be unhappy and just give up on their profession. This is what essentially happen to warriors. And I hope in the future, devs will focus more on buffing the weak professions instead of nerfing the good ones.

Warriors fat might stacks still pro for pve. But 2 revs might fill this role and out dps :/

I’m more worried about DH’s place in raids. kitten bosses move so much our traps might be kitten and with the amount of small damage always happening, a reliable block my be next to impossible, and add on all the non reflectable crap… hopefully we aren’t pushed out of meta. In team stability we trust!

i havent tested my DH in dungeons yet but before HOT i was running Warrior Phalanx Strength build in dungeons and loved it. That build will still work for dungeons but for HOT and pvp im really liking DH.
