It’s pretty simple: Leap of Faith + Judge’s Intervention.

I was pretty ecstatic when I realized that it’s possible to cast Judge’s while mid-Leap. The result is a nearly-1800 range gap closer that slams your target with damage, burning, blind, and usually vulnerability. Extremely, extremely fun, try it out!

just to better understand the mechanics, so say you pick a target, trigger leap of faith, and then hit JI while mid-leap? haha that’s pretty awesome.

Judge’s Intervention is an actually really fun and versatile utility and can be used in combination with many other skills. it also doesn’t cancel moves that are charging/channeling

That’s exactly it, Akamon—you explode out of nowhere in a fiery whirlwind of pain and debilitation. Something every Guardian should try and enjoy.

Been using this for a while now with Hammer 4. Get the timing just right and it makes for an epic moment.

Hammer 5 trumps all with this combo

lol especially if you have some eles or rangers helping you, watch them try to flee in terror but only to held by Ring of warding 5 seconds in hell

Not as dramatic as JI combos, but all Shouts and Virtues can be used while casting other spells, too.

Indeed! I am pretty sure that’s how they are supposed to work I don’t think using shouts or meditations in this way is any kind of exploit. You just need fast fingers.

I had been using banish + JI “The Freight Train” combo for a while, but never thought to combine JI with blinding leap. “The Meteor Leap” may have just become my favourite GS opener.
