Mantra of Solace triggering heal effects ?
Does anyone know for sure if the new Mantra of Solace can trigger “using a healing skill” effects on every cast?
For example, Protector’s Impact triggers from using a healing skill. Also, some runes trigger from healing skills.
Mantra of Solace’s cooldown is only 12 seconds if used smartly. So, will I be able to activate my trait/runes every 12 seconds? Or will these be triggered only when preparing the mantra (first cast)?
From what I remember, there was one trait (Healer’s retribution I think) that was bugged and only activated off the mantra channel or maybe not at all… I forget. Everything else I tried (Protector’s symbol, smiter’s boon, rune effects) seemed to work off both the channel and the charges.
Protector’s impact has an internal cooldown of 20 seconds. The lesser smite conditions from smiter’s boon also has an icd of 20 seconds, so even though you can use mantra of solace every 12 seconds, the internal cool downs would prevent you from spamming.
Lots of those traits have internal cd so you wont get these effects if you cast them 2 times in a row in few seconds.
Yes it did trigger heal effects in runes. But it was bugged, it triggered when you charged the mantra and you had to wait for the icd to trigger it when actually using the heal. It was the same with elite mantra and runes triggered by charged the elite.
Tested the elite with rune of the mad king and had to wait kitten really annoying but i forgot to post a report.
There are a few bugs.
Healer’s Retribution only trigger when the mantra is prepared and doesn’t work when a charge (ammo) is used.
Protector’s Impact and Liberator’s Vow are the oposite.
And Smiter’s Boon is the only one – not bugged – that triggers on either one (preparing or using a charge).
About runes, I believe they would work in any one (preparing the mantra or using a charge).
