Medi HammerTrapper [PvP] - testing build
I like the idea. That’s all I really wanted to say.
Tried a pretty similar build.
Main putfall was that the hammer was so frekin slow & anyone with stability or a teleport could get out of it.

In the end its great for destroying noobs & idiots but at higher end play its just so easily countered.
Looks fun will give it a try.
Ragnar is unfortunately quite correct about it being easily countered if you know what you’re doing :P I queued with it for an afternoon against some higher end players and it wasn’t as groundbreaking as I hoped.
The cc was great for some clutch saves and team fights, but I struggled in 1v1s and got squished easily if I got focused. The build shined the most if I could teleport and +1 into the middle of a big team fight when everyone has blown most of their initial defenses. Anyone trapped inside the ward would get shredded. I’m convinced hammer can make a return into the meta though, the ccs are just so good. It’s just a matter of finding the right build :o

Hammer is usually more for team fights, that’s where it shines the most, that’s how the old meta was if I’m correct. Teams like orng knew how to run this type of setup very well, usually hammer guard requires good coordination with a team or at least a partial premade, that’s why it might not be the best soloq build compared to other ones due to pugs not focusing the same target most of the time for example, but it does have good potential in a more structured coordinative setup.
Just tried hammer, it’s so bad, …. underwhelming in pvp. Gs/LB ftw.
