I was just reading the “Meet the Dragon Hunter” article listed today (see below) and it feels misleading/outdated due to changes from Beta Weekends.

https://www.guildwars2.com/en/news/meet-the-dragonhunter-guardians-elite-specialization/

“Guardians will find that the new elite specialization gives them access to some conditions and functionality normally reserved for professions of a more physical nature. They’ll gain a bit of innate mobility, while the ability to cripple or bleed enemies will become an option through their elite specialization traits. One of their elite specialization traits is Rending Light, which will enable all varieties of traps to bleed enemies. Whether taking on the masses or a single enemy, the dragonhunter is a predator to be feared.”

This should be updated for new unsuspecting players, as the ability to apply bleed via traps is no longer an option.

The articles are meant for the point of time they are posted and rarely ever updated. I’m pretty sure they would rather point people to the main HoT website as a better reference to the current state of each specialization. Problem is that in this case, it still links to that article. I’m sure it will be updated once HoT hits.

That said, I am actually quite said they decided to remove bleeding from Dragonhunter. I was really looking forward to it. Was hoping they would make Dragonhunters a viable option for being able to do condition damage aside from burning. While burning on guardian is great, it still leaves it vulnerable to content that has mobs that are immune to burning, condi cleanses, or periods of time where you can not hit the mob.
