Hello, my understanding is that the mist-fire wolf elite skill for Guardians is only available (not grayed out) for certain versions of the game. However I read some posts that said even players that purchased the upgrade did not have the upgraded skills available for any established characters. They would have to start over and build a new character to have access to the skill. Has this been modified or resolved? I was thinking of upgrading my version, but not if it means starting over.

I can’t answer your questions, because I am unaware of what you are referring to. But I can say that is the mist-fire wolf is the main reason for upgrading your account, you should not do it. The skill is easily one of the weakest elite skills in the game.

I don’t really know, but I can say that I upgraded sometime earlier this year and have never had an issue with it.

You don’t buy it for the Wolf, the wolf skills is only slightly fun. But worthless.

You buy theWolf skill to support Anet developers with money so they can earn a buck or two by keeping the game alive, but as a Guardian. Don’t buy it, they keep screwing us over with each patch and they wont address our core problem. So my personal oppinion would be to no sponsor them untill they get there act back.

The game had alot of potential and still has, they only need to start fixing the class(es) core mechanics and balance it around. Ussualy i say that Guard is in a bad spot and although that is true, we are not alone there.
