Guild Wars 2

Today was my first day into the great world of WvWvW.
I was running around Soloing as well as following the Zerg time to time,
build was 0/0/30/20/20 with Hammer Mace/Shield, with Knights/Zerker/Valkyrie Armor/Jewel. All Exotics.

And it sucked…big time. First thing I noticed was I totally needed ranged weapon, which was obvious. But I came prepared, I had my decent Scepter with me! changed my Mace to the Scepter, and while Scepter did a decent job at it, I never changed back to the Mace, ever.

Felt meh, and changed my build to 0/30/30/5/5 with Right handed strength, changed my weapon to Sword/Shield / Scepter/Focus.

And it was awesome!! I almost wet my pants! compare to the build before survivability felt the same but twice as much damage, Solo was fun, with more boost in Scepter, Zerg was fun as well.

But one thing that worries me is that, with this build I might not be as effective as before when I PvE.
So please, if any other Guardian runs a similar build, please share your experience in PvE specially in dungeon and fractals.

Im glad you found a balance of traits that you like. As far as PvE any dungeon you will be fine in really. High level fractals (30+ imo is when i switched to a heal build) is when you’ll need to switch.
