Guild Wars 2

Hey guys

me and my friend does dungeons daily but its just us 2 and the three people we find happens to be random people and some of them bring nothing to the team.

I am a guardian and will someone please give me a build (traits/weapons) best for doing dungeons with pugs.

my friend plays phalanx warrior if that helps.

If its a pug, you need bring nothing but damage and making sure you do not go down. I personally like meditations as the best build all around.

Provides some great all around builds for any dungeon, and other areas. If your running with Pugs I would suggest the fractal hammer build. Most Pugs won’t be blasting firefields anyway. However before you go all auto attack crazy make sure that the Ele isn’t dropping fire fields or something similar that can lead to upset Pugs and well all know how that road can go.

As you already have a PS Warrior in your group that can take care of Might even without fire fields a Hammer Guardian is the best choice.

In dungeons you should switch your second weapon set according to the situation. I use Greatsword if I need a pull, Staff for skipping mobs, and Scepter/Focus if I may need a ranged weapon during the next fight.

Utility skills you should have unlocked and switch to if need be:
Wall of Reflection, Hallowed Ground, Purging Flames, “Retreat!”, “Stand your Ground!”, Shield of the Avenger
