doesn’t mean you’re the best player in the group
it means the enemies considered you a low priority.”
I’m lvling a guardian(64 atm) to farm dgs as soon I get to 80, but I don’t have any clue of what traits/gear should I aim for it.
For leveling I’m running with http://gw2skills.net/editor/en/?fUAQNAR5elYgyDnFSKEf4ESmCRCBtUQQAE2DN6j2IA;T8AgzyoEMJhS1kiJqbMdJ6yGk7GZQLGGQs/A occasionally switching smite condition with retreat for speed buff/aegis and I’m planning to get the Vigil set(power, toughness, and vitality.) as start up because of the bonus(I’m not lvling craft atm), but from there, I don’t know what I should do.
I mean, what skills/weapons should I bring, what role should I fill and etc. Can some kind heart, pleage, give me some insight?

Your spec site gives me a “bad link” answer.
Just some random thoughts:
You should focus on maximum DPS while leveling, i have found that swords/torch and greatsword with maxed Zeal and Radiance traits (as you level) gives a lot of sustained damage (and a good amount of AoE).
When you’ll go first time in a dungeon you will find overwhelmed, especially if you’re used to WoW trinity, where the tank get the boss and is expected to stand tough and firm and leaving the boss stable and under control.
As is, this is not the case. You will find that mobs always switch aggro, and you have to be able to switch to DPS or support as soon as the boss/mob isn’t hitting you anymore.
For this reason, i suggest you don’t mind about maxing mitigation (toughness), but bring a good amount of it (with traits) and then peel it off a little every time till you feel confident about your ability to stay alive. I found vitality is a good compromise, because having a larger health pool gives room for errors in dodging/avoiding hits.
Then slowly add to your DPS (drawing from toughness and vitality) till you feel confident again. The ideal goal should be to be able to go into dungeon in full explorer (for the loot) or full berserker (for the damage), but that takes a strong defensive and dodging ability, and a full comprehension of the class mechanics.
Finally, you can’t be wrong with Altruistic Healing. Giving the unbelievable amount of boons you even unknowingly distribute to you and your friend, that trait should give you a little more margin for the first errors. It works better with shouts, and mace/shield, but don’t feel chained by this.
Experiment till you have a feel for the incredible staying power of our class and start from there to build your personal gamestyle.
Hope it helps you more than simply point to this or that build that “is awesome”.
Thanks for the reply, dunno why the link didn’t work, but you can copy&paste it. I’ll try to those tonight and see how it goes
