Guild Wars 2

As the title suggests, I am looking for a good utility skill and trait set up for GS/Hammer combination. Something that can help me do good damage and survive decently too, if such a build exists.

Hammer/Greatsword is one of the best combinations a Guardian has to offer and is flexible enough to work with a lot of builds.

What sort of content are you looking at for this build?

Mainly pve and WvW right now.

I posted this a few months ago. Be aware that you don’t have AH nor Monk’s Focus in that build (probably the reason why not a lot of people showed interest in that build) . If you are new to guardian and still struggle with survivability, I suggest trying AH or Med build first.

Using a med build, you can be a pokeball guardian: Start casting Ring of Warding, then teleport before the casting duration ends.

Build that i use mostly for roaming wvw.

good sustain + hits like a truck shines with small group roaming more than solo though

u can basically use force of will trait instead of empowering might or 2 handed mastery if u want more survivability but u will still have 19k~ hp with wvw stacks anyway.

u can mix in valkyrie or cavalier , soldier if u want.

u can also use other runes like hoelbrak , strength or melandru but for me that 25% ms on traveler is essential.
