Guild Wars 2

Hey guys, I’m relatively new to GW2 and have a few questions, I will try to make it brief. Any help will be greatly appreciated! I have look at guides but for the most part they just show which slot skills to use.

-What is the best set of gear for WvW (are there different stats?)
-What are the best weapon sets to use, and which traits work best with those sets?
-Are there specific weapons for WvW? What are my best options that wont cost me an arm and a leg and what should I shoot for long term?

Any additional information would be great!

Well from what I have seen, I like taking small supply posts and things, which generally result in skirmishes. Whenever I try and move with a ton of people and take one of the larger bases I get owned in the 20 vs 20 fights and stuff.

I guess I’m not really sure what the difference is. Sorry for my lack of knowledge. Is there something that’s balanced enough for me to handle my 1v1 fights as well as the huge battles that occur?
