This is why I can’t upgrade my gear until they release the Power/Precision/Vitality combo.
No one gives a kitten about this new prefix? really? I think its huge for WvW and GvG
I don’t know I think guardian is the one class that can shine with this in WvW. You can trait for some extra toughness with SiN go deeper for critical damage to work with the precision. I don’t think this is something to fully deck out in but can provide some dps lacking from healing builds.
Cooked this up to see what I could get. The armor total healing would come to 234. Simulated the power and precision from zerk obviously the critical damage would be lower. Just add in 234 in the manual section for the armor. I think this can give a healway build some extra damage.

Thing is, you don’t even need to go 30 in virtues, you can do 10/30/0/30/0 or even 0/25/0/30/15 (wvw specific)
or 0/30/0/30/10 for pugging dungeons…ahh the possibilities
Oh yah, healing power also scales somewhat with zealous blade. So maybe 20/x/x/30/x
And you don’t even need PoV, so 20 in honor would suffice for whatever trait

I’m not really a fan of the new stat. I can see it being lovely if you’re a ranged Guardian… or an ele… but I mean… what…? Power Prec is ok. HP is ok. Pow/Prec/HP? ….. why? Maybe now I can be ok with still running my same build that is void of Zeal and Radiance Traits, but still do dam good damage. Maybe that’s it. IDK, haven’t played with anything yet. I put the stats on my Sunrise, didn’t feel a change, but that’ll take time.

That’s a vertical progression issue, not a horizontal one. Back when there were only exotics (horizontal), a new nomenclature or a nerfed nomenclature wouldn’t have been an issue: now, with BiS armor that costs upwards of 500g, it very much is.
I think it’s actually a nice idea, people can use healing moderate dps in the same build now, could open up some new build types but unless they buff healing power crit damage is still going to remain superior
Its basically an offensive support guardian. You know those guardians wishing to do support in full clear? Well now they can actually contribute to doing DPS as well.
I think this prefix will end up being one of the more useful ones. We just need power, pre healing power accessories

IMO its the most worth while for Guardian, specially wvw and fractals (I do 49/50 fractals on full zerk guardian and Warrior, and I can tell you this, just having 10k more HP makes a HUGE difference in 12 hit kill and 3-3 hit killed, the Toughness doesnt scale well enough so Knights didnt work for me, I was still being 1-2 hit killed and I notice I do better/the same in zerk gear).

and ferocity is = to a mix from power and precision
With power, prec, hp you will have also ferocity..
so it is something likely the idea of celestial stat..
As a cleric dude, not sure how much I’d like to drop my toughness for precision..
Power as the main stat? It can give place to very interesting specs then.
Unfortunately, because of the narrow way to obtain them, very VERY few people will actually experiment with such stat combo.
Already have a full set and weapon equipped. Now the REAL problem is the lack of similar stat accessories. Basically to capitalize on healing power, you either need celestial or a combination of cleric accessories.

Combine clerics and berserker trinkets. You can get almost the exact same effective healthpool and power. I crafted My exotic just now and will take them for a spin later this evening.
Decided to craft some ascended pieces to go with my ascended Celestial. Going to replace the gloves, boots, and shoulders with Zealot.
Just as a warning for ascended, the recipes for Zealot are only TP. So don’t waste your laurels getting them from the vendor because they’re not there.

Actually, I think it’s a nice bridge between Zerk and Valks. I also like more recovery on HP than I like higher pool, though many heal power conversions are still questionable on our traits. It’s probably going to be very decent with Zeal 20/GS setup.

I think you would gain more survivability by sticking with zerker gear and simply swapping to heal on crit food. Healing power only really returns a good bang for your buck if you can throw out mass amounts of regen, battle presence and symbol ticks.

Renewal is just my personal preference but you can change it if you want. i just want to benefit more on our healing power and since we have low hp

Utility Skill is 3 meditation to max out Fury and heal source also we hate conditions since we have low hp, use it wisely.
Elite – I like Invulnerability, so trolly and Op when timed well very usefull “Oh crap” button
This build is base on march 2014 big patch or living story season 2?

So, after playing around with this setup for a bit, I could say that a full glass cannon trait with zerker and zealots gear is suboptimal as of now.
My tests were done on the champ giant in cursed shores, north of meddler’s waypoint.
The thing is that, without toughness, healing power gets sort of weak and you either need to fully spec healway with boon duration and energy sigils, or you go home
What I had success with however, was 10/0/30/20/10 and 20/0/30/20/0. Meditation + GS healing + dodge healing with this setup is quite ridiculous. I added 1 cleric ring while retaining zerker accessories. Lets just say the giant was a piece of cake. Ofc you can argue that this is a “selfish” spec and in fact it is. As a matter of fact, runes of speed synergise so well with this spec which makes it shine particularly in solo/roaming mode
Can we get accessories for this yet?

oops didn’t notice that, it’s 30/20/20 because monk’s focus is grandmaster, might on crit and absolute resolution is both master, adept it’s up to you, since this build is for pvp/wvw. If u have friends with you i love knockback on revive it’s very helpful,

I was hopping that combo too, but after thinking Power as main is better, since this is a DPS with support. I compared full Cleric with full Zealot and the diference is about ~250 between primary and secondary stats if I’m not wrong, which is better to have more Power than Healing Power.
The gain from going from pvt to power/precision is sub 10 percent at best. Meanwhile survivability loss can be up to 50 percent of burst ehp. Longer fights look even better for it for pvt as the heals heal for less but are worth more due to your Toughness. This is for wvw 0.0.30.30.10 build.
Honestly can’t see much point for this new gear. Healing power is so bad that Toughness increases the effectiveness of heals by more than healing power. Each 100hp healed on a 0.0.30.30.10 power/prec/hp build would have given you the equivalent of 127hp on pvt gear.

The builds I enjoy most are the ones where your talent points, armour stats, and overall build goal all line up neatly to compliment each other. Guardian seems to be the hardest class for me to accomplish this in. This new stat combo is neat, but I’m still not convinced yet.

Their lack of condi builds, low hp, and reliance on healing do make it rather difficult to make that perfect build.
