Guild Wars 2

So I’m a ranger main since over 2 years and finally grew the balls to play a guardian/DH seriously. I wanna make use of celestial stats, but I still need some help.

This is the build I thought of so far:

Now my questions. I want some pretty burning, not focus entirely on it, just to get some damage done while being pretty tanky. I thought of using Litany of Wrath, but with traits like Amplified Wrath together with runes of the guardian, I think about using Shelter instead. Could this actually give more burning and tankiness or would the heal of Litany of Wrath be enough? From your experience, how much healing do you recieve from the active effect commonly? I want to use this build for roaming and maybe PvP, but I would switch to traps for PvP.

Additional info: I would really like to keep Bow/Sword because the playstyle is pretty similar to my ranger, where I can kite threats and burst them down if there is an open window.

If you are planning to trololol go full traps and not have to worry about fighting. Please stay on ranger. I would hate for guard to become the fotm one shot lol build that will get nerfed. Here is the build I use for team que and it works really well since I was qued with Rom, tage, chaithe, etc and they couldn’t handle it. (Chaithe was in eu yesterday) build is sword/ focus, longbow. Air/fire on longbow. Air/blood on sword focus, pack runes. Traits are valor, virtues, dragonhunter. Valor is mid, mid, mid. Virtues, up, mid, down, dragonhunter is up,up,mid. For utilities i use shelter, Judges Intervention, test of faith, contemplation of purity. Build has no downsides so far. Good vs Condi, power, anything. Well, except chronimancers double gravity well. Great combo is use f1. Place trap down, pull the boor kitten into the trap while immediately casting trueshot. Hits like 14k or more depending on how many times they hit test of faiths wall. xD. Use your skill wisely. And this build will serve you well.
