Next set of armour?
You can’t go wrong with Knight but if you want some big change, go Berserkers. What’s your build, anyway? AH builds with PVT usually force you to run with berserkers accessories and precision runes.
Don’t use VIT accessories with anything.
Man up and get full zerker with ruby orbs. Oh, and don’t take Altruistic Healing, it makes your gameplay too boring.

Man mode right there, no safety net, bite the pillow, going in dry.
I play Knight’s with Emerald Orbs and TBH I feel pretty invincible and very supportive when I play it right, but not so strong. Which is ok, because I made a guardian for support and survivability with decent damage. In my opinion, AH is currently the most popular build for guardians for a reason, because it let’s them really excel.
When I want to run into a battle on a glass cannon/Berserker build, I’ll do it on my warrior where that playstyle is more effective (in my experience). I probably won’t change my warrior build to support/shouts with Cleric’s gear for the same reason as above, I won’t be able to do that as well as I do it on my guardian.
Just my opinion, some will disagree and may be right depending on how they play.

Where’s the fun in playing invincible build, isn’t it like playing with god mode on? ;p
not sure if this has been posted, but Anet has replied that they will be adding the missing types to ascended items (knights, Clerics, etc):
Pain Train Choo [Choo]
Mind Smack – Mesmer

Ah, I see your point but I don’t necessarily feel like god mode is turned on, since I have to be actively engaged in play to stay alive. Same with my D/D ele, I have a lot of potential survivability, but I do have to work to keep it.
I think many classes can get close to this feeling when played correctly. In fact, these are probably the classes that people say are broken, like stealth build thieves, etc. But I think that this is actually a really promising combat system that ANet has built. If they ever get all the classes to where D/D ele and guardian are now, and the players know their classes well, combat could get very interesting.

I bet you play fotm d/d ele with 0/10/0/30/30 with pvt armour plus clerics trinkets. The situation where you have to work to keep up your survivability is not even comparable with more aggressive builds. They offer better rewards (mobs are dead faster) with more risk (imho more fun).
I honestly doubt that ANet wants you to run such tanky builds. They had to decrease difficulty before the launch after all.
As a reference, atm I play on my guardian with 20/25/0/20/5 with full zerker everything and ruby orbs on my armour. If those grandmaster traits weren’t so bad (except maybe RHS) I would definitely get more points in zeal or radiance.
I have two sets of armor and builds for my guard. For PvE I run full berzerk gear / soldier runes with 30/20/0/20/0 (I can’t manage without shouts removing conditions, or I’d go ruby orbs). For WvW (and some dungeons) I run full cleric gear / boon duration runes with 0/0/10/30/30 (Chris’ “Healway” build). Two drastically different play styles that are both super effective at what they do and fun to play

Now I’m curious what specific traits you take because those grandmaster traits are really bad. You could try putting 10 points from Zeal into Honour line and take Pure of Voice if you don’t use Hold the Line which doesn’t work with it (surprisingly works with soldier’s runes though) and then take ruby orbs.

That’s actually not a bad suggestion. I don’t use either of the Zeal grandmaster traits, as they are indeed bad. I’ve been using II (Fiery Wrath), VII (Greatsword Power), and IX (Scepter Power). In PvE I typically run with “Retreat!”, “Stand Your Ground!”, and “Save Yourselves!”, which means 2 of the 3 shouts are affected by Pure of Voice. The extra vitality from the Honor line almost offsets the vitality lost from the Soldier’s runes to boot!
