No one hear Guardians' shouts but warriors'
You really want people to hear us scream “Retreat!” or “Save yourselves!” when we’re doing well on a boss?
Just a by the way, only “Hold the Line!” lacks VA on my female sylvari. She does in fact shout “Retreat!” when I cast it.
i hear them all.
I hear them when I shout.
I hear all of them besides the bugged “Hold the Line!” (Male Norn.)
“Hold the Line!” is one you’d hear less frequent, my Asura majority of the time yells out the same thing she’d say for Protection or Regen instead of Hold the Line. That being said, I have heard her yell “Hold the Line!” before, just not that much.
I mean the others cant hear them when u shout

The thread is about other people hearing the shouts; I imagine it (as mentioned above) is because guardian shouts are all commands/instructions (retreat, hold the line, stand your ground & save yourselves) while warriors have more fitting ones for constant yelling.
I really want to be able to use retreat and have a bunch of people freak out and retreat.
can “Retreat!” just be renamed “Charge!”?
No. That’s a Warrior ability.
