Can it please cast while on the move?

The whole reason for it to have obscene damage was because you had to stop and crouch down to fire which was painfully obvious in a small fight scenario.

Of course in WvW mass fights this can’t be seen and so the crazy high piercing damage was an issue, at least until everyone chose every reflect trait, utility and weapon skill available and kept them up all the time.
Even so, the damage nerf from this perspective is justified.

But now for 1v1 or small group play the damage is low for the obvious animation and rooting sacrifice.

It’s time for it to go.

If full mobility isn’t cool then make it the same as Whirling Wrath where your character moves at walking pace while channeling.

Being able to move while casting Trueshot would be one hell of a buff for Roaming/Duelling Guards. I don’t think it will happen, since guards and DH are on the nerf list of Anet.

At this point I think if we get nerfed again, Guardian will become the equivalent to the LoL meme of Irellia. Chronomancer OP? Better nerf Guardian.

To be honest, the last nerf was ok. I just adjusted my build and playstyle and still win 80-85% of my duells even against good Roamers/Duellists.

The Trueshot nerf hits hard I know that, but right now we need to live with it.
I don’t see any more nerfs coming in on DH over the next few patches as well as I don’t seen any will to do some important rework on traits and utility skills on Guardians over all.

I will keep playing Meditrapper,…because it is the only usefull build we have.

Deflecting Shot isn’t too bad either. it used to hit for the same as an auto, but now if you deflect a projectile it hits for around the same as True Shot (on my Guard in particular its a difference of 2 damage, I’m not sure on the new base and scaling numbers).

I can see the reasoning behind it. Taking the damage from True Shot and spreading it to Deflecting Shot and the Symbol make the longbow less reliant on that one skill. You could say it takes more “skill” to get the most use out of the weapon now that its less 1-button spam. Whether or not that’s a valid interpretation doesn’t really matter to me, but its a way of looking at it.
