Offensive pve guardian build. Need tips and advice
A few things that came to mind:
1) Revenge of the Fallen: Instead of taking traits that help you when downed, focus on ones that help you from going down in the first place. Fiery Wrath is far superior given that you have Renewed Justice – your foes are going to almost always be burning.
2) Given that you have Renewed Justice (which comes with Justic is Blind) you should take Blind Exposure. I dont think 20% CD reduction on Bane Signet is going to do you any good in PvE. You’re going to end up with lots of vuln. stacks in large AoE fights given your VoJ will be proccing. This doesnt even consider the blind on GS.
3) Personally I wouldn’t use a scepter at all. Your job as guardian is almost always better done at the heart of the fight. With your build you should be able to throw out enough blind to mitigate damage spikes. Capitalise on Two Handed Mastery by taking a hammer for a more defensive and single target focus, or a staff for mobility.
Otherwise, I think it’s ok. Personally I don’t like the Zeal line at all, and would rather go down Valor which is full of goodies. But that’s personal taste.
Definitely switch out revenge of the fallen for fiery wrath.
I would take 10 points out of honor and put them in radiance. Radiant Power is another 10% damage. Ditch two handed mastery for it.
For utility skills i would also consider hold the line and signet of judgement. Signet of judgement is a 10% reduction to damage which is pretty nice. Might wanna run tome of courage instead of wrath too. The spells on courage seem much more impressive.
Extremely good points and sorry for being so brief. Here where I am, there is no acces to computers and I have to work my build with my phone. You pointed out exactly the things I was unsure of and I agree with changing revenge of the fallen to fiery wrath and also using staff as my secondary weapon. Taking 10 points from honor is another thing. I don’tthink it would be wise since empowerement is also a support skill and offers constant might to me and my allies. Also the minor gives more dmg when I’m low on endurance. Radiants 2nd tier doesn’t really offer me anything so basically I would be changing 2 good traits for only 1 good trait. Zeal line also provides me power in which I’m focused on.

I really find the Zeal line weak at present. Something like this would give you good damage and the Altruistic healing would keep you standing. Just teach yourself to swap between hammer and GS during battle. The Valor line will up your crit damage as well.
Anet lied (where’s the Manifesto now?)
I also agree with changing SYG to HTL.

Here is the final build. I know that I have 20 points in zeal but it just feels weird to leave trait that boosts gs dmg off. I was thinking of training armorsmithing to 400 and craft full draconic with power, precision and vit/toughness. I was planning to prior toughness in gear over vitality for more effective self heal. Do tell me if there is still something I should take into consideration. Still, in the end this supports my own preferences so the greatsword stays. (I friking love greatswords) Thank you for your support.
Final touch: signet of justice instead of bane signet

You would be losing two handed mastery, not empowering might.
