Guild Wars 2

Hi, im trying to decide on my play style with my guardian. didnt want to open 2 topics for each build. im playing together with my friend’s warrior and i want to run dungeons.
Not sure if i’ll go dps or tanky build, but here is what i think:

DPS: scepter/torch-gs

I tried sword/focus-gs for dps but felt useless next to the dmg warr dishes out. so thought maybe a scepter/torch condition build will make a synergy. im still a beginner so thoughts on these builds much appriciated, shuffling forums for builds just confuse me :d
