Guild Wars 2

When you play with a warrior, as im a lvl 21 warrior that is playing with a lvl 20 guardian friend, how do you usually like them to play? I dont know his potential build, but I know he likes GS/Sword focus. I was gonna go 20/0/30/0/20, and this is gonna be my main so imma probably stick with that (GS / Hammer), but how do you guys usually like your warrior friends to play? Supportive? Control? Damage? A mix, and if so, mix of what?

You play, however you want to play . That is the beauty of guild wars 2. There is no min/max. There is nothing that is the best. There is what you enjoy. Find that, and you will find true fun in guild wars.

not quite the same situation, but my friend and i for the first week or so while we were making our first chars to 80. I had a guardian and he ran a Double Dagger Elementalist. I built to have a lot of defense and control and he ran as much damage as possible, we were able to do this throughout the entire leveling process.

There is no min/max, theres no prebuilt roles you and your friend have to fill. But one going support and another going damage works. Both going damage is gonna work just as well, maybe faster. But honestly, find what each of you want to do in your own class and it should work well.

if I could choose what type of warrior to play with me, I’d choose the type that can take full advantage of my utilities. I’m not saying glass cannon, but I want to see my retaliation shout go noticed.

I will say that the one warrior build I do not like playing with is a 5 signet warrior…
