So if I play Guardian as my main and PVP should I expect my role to be mainly support?

What if I wanted to play less support and more offensively?

It seems that I get pwnt when I play more offensively.

nahh guardians are great in pvp you can go with multiple offensive builds aswell has being an amazing point tank some examples of offensive are the Greatsword/hammer and Sword/focus scepter/shield combo’s
and for tanks theres the mace/focus combo wich is pretty amazing and near immortal hope this helped

Guardians are able to bring a lot to a team and can be built effectively for DPS or Support/Point defense roles.

I play offensively and only get " pwned " when I’m up against more than one enemy, particularly on Khylo,kittentreb! You might be going too offensive, don’t fall for it. Guardians can still put some very good damage while keeping the defensive side to their game.

I’ve got 3000 + in both attack and armour with over 20k health at the moment.

I just tried out a spec using a 2H sword, and switching out with a sword and board. I also moved my traits into 20 Valor / 25 Honor / 25 Virtue, for retaliation bonus.

I used it last night and seems to work pretty sweet, unless you guys have another suggestion.
