Hi, I noticed a couple of people asking what armour my Charr guardian is wearing. It’s the T3 Charr Cultural armour. Sorry for the late reply; I’ve not been on the forums for a while. Please PM me if you have any questions lol.

I think it is called Barbaric Helm Cheap helmet found in TP.

That right there is what I call a good Charr or a BEAST o3o I love how the armor just makes it look even more fierce and merciless!

Posted a screen of my guardian when the game first come out and now did a whole overhaul with him and now the new Karma Crimzin

Hehe, thanks! It’s had to find a decent-looking armour set for Charrs but you can’t go wrong with some good old cultural armour.

I like your armour setup too btw. :P Jelly of that shield lol – I haven’t got one single weapon ticket… >.<

Got a Makeover Kit out of a chest, decided to make use of it… Will post results later on.

Went with something a little different with the Makeover Kit, reminiscent of my retired WoW main.

Dyes are Red + Black

[Still working on weapons to match better, but I think the contrast is OK for the time being.]

Hehe, thanks! It’s had to find a decent-looking armour set for Charrs but you can’t go wrong with some good old cultural armour.

Yeah, I heard about how hard and irritating it was to get the ticket after I got mine by opening 50 regular coffers… I would recommend people to keep farming coffers and only start opening once you are above 100, I somehow feel that it would be better than opening them one by one for each time you would get one dropped.

finally achieved a non metal set. unfortunately, it is at the expense of showing some skin.

none of my other 7 custom sets showed an inch of skin and i’m not quite used to it yet.

Just love GW1 Hammer bash skill. Mighty blow has very similar animation.

I love swords, scepters, shields, staves… This class + asura race is my favorite combo, visually and gameplay wise

I just bought 1000 dragon coffers and got a skin ticket, so I got the avenger. So here’s my new avenger style guardian:

The dyes used are evergreen, abyss, and lifeblood.

The armor skin is the WvWvW dark armor skin (The last heavy armor skin sold by the skin vendor in WvWvW) and the weapon skin is the Dragon’s Jade Avenger skin.

btw, how do all you juggy wielders get the liquid armor effect to stay when in another weapon set or not having juggernaut out?

K, so gonna give a bit of advice when dying human T3. The armor itself is extremely simple in design, so you have to highlight the detailing. Namely, the detailing on the cloth parts. The dye you chose washes out any and all detailing on the cloth. That’s a no-no. There are plenty of darker reds that don’t wash out the detailing (e.g. Oxblood, Midnight Rose, Midnight Red, Rose Shade, Remembrance, Dusky), as well as more vibrant reds (e.g. Lava, Chestnut, Spitfire). Heck, the vast majority of the pale reds would work, too. Just not the over-saturated mess that a lot of people make the mistake of wearing.

Also, different dye colours on the actual armor of your gear can work, but only if you transition from darker shades to lighter shades of the same colour as you get closer to your head. I’m talking very slight changes in shades, not something drastic like Burgundy → Rose Ice.
