Neenu Waffler-Warrior for what once was the Toast-

It seems to be. Any AH hammer wielders use the Forge runes? I’m wondering if they are a viable choice vs. Soldier runes for damage mitigation. Thanks for any help.

First, what’s “AH”?
Second, what do your rune choices have to do with the title of this topic?
As far as I’m concerned, all boons have their place. There are times when I prefer Regen, times when I prefer Aegis, then there’s swiftness, retaliation, etc..
Lastly, what you choose depends on your personal build.
No one can really give you an informed answer unless we know what sort of style you’re going for; Lyssa and Soldier runes are very different from each other too.

“altruistic healing”.. and apologies, I meant runes of the forge. Original post edited.

Ah, that makes it a lot more clear. So, going full tanky I’m guessing.
I love Forge runes. They fit Hammer Guardians so well.
In that case:
- If you’re going 30 Honor as well (vitality + healing), I’d say take the Forge runes.
- If not, I’d say you need the Soldier runes for more vitality and the condition-removing capability.
Having low vitality can bite you in the kitten harder then anything else in this game.
But maybe you got that covered in gear-stats. Just try to balance it out.
Four forge and two earth, if you want allot of protection boon duration, it works fairly well. I prefer solider my self for shouts removing conditions. Also I think two monk, two water and two earth is higher, but you wont have as much toughness.
The extra healing power is not to bad however, scales well with the new agony system.
