Hello guys,

I play mainly WvW with my Guardian, I run a heavily defensive build which relies mainly on using shouts, for that matter I trait heavily into Honor, and I’ve been tweaking around the use of Pure of Voice since the wiki states that it’s currently buggy and doesn’t affect properly all shouts and conditions as it is supposed to, here’s the source:

I want to know your opinion about this trait and it’s value in a shout build, because since they’ve recently buffed Resolute Healer which is amazing in WvW I’m in doubt whether having it or Pure of Voice if it’s really worthy.

• Pure of voice only reliably affects stand your ground and retreat
• It always removes bleed effects first giving you vigor
• I’m pretty sure the conditions are removed in a certain order regardless of application time, but i’ve been unable to determine this order due bleeds being so common.

Overall I’d say the trait can be still useful in its current state because you can use it to pretty much obtain all the other boons to which you don’t normally have access, especially when you need them the most, but the bug really cripples it.

Vigor is probably one of the more useful boons to get. You could be getting 1 stack of might….

Why not get Resolute Healer and Pure of Voice?

Not worth it. You need ‘Retreat’ and STG for it to be useful (and ’Retreat" is a long-cooldown that you likely use prior to battle or at the start of battle for movement speed.)

Plus, Honor has so many good traits to choose from.
